Review by Kelli Lynn
Mike Kelsey opened the show. He played acoustic guitar for the first 30 minutes. He was outstanding! After him, I was ready for Melon to start but unfortunately Dishwalla took the stage. They went on dragging for another 45 minutes. Finally after waiting and waiting Blind Melon came out. They came out and kicked the show off with 2 x 4. At one point during the show, Shannon asked everyone to be very quiet and told the band not to play. He brought out his daughter, Nico. She was dressed in white with a white hat on her head. Her eyes were huge as Shannon held her up for the audience to see. He said "Tonight's my daughter's first rock 'n' roll event." He put her up to the mic but she didn't make a noise so he took her small fingers and had her give the crowd the finger. The concert was amazing. They sounded great.
